 ECG Begins Mass Revenue Mobilisation Exercise Across Volta and Oti Regions

The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) has commenced a mass revenue mobilisation exercise across the Volta and Oti Regions as the company intensifies efforts to recover outstanding electricity bills from customers.

The exercise begins today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and is scheduled to continue until Friday, October 2, 2026.

According to information released by ECG’s Volta Region, the exercise will cover customers across different categories who have outstanding electricity arrears.

The exercise forms part of ECG’s broader efforts to improve revenue collection and strengthen its financial position. ECG has previously identified improved revenue collection and reduction of commercial losses as important parts of its efforts to achieve financial sustainability. (Electricity Company of Ghana Ltd)

Customers with outstanding bills are therefore encouraged to check their electricity accounts and settle their arrears to avoid possible action in accordance with ECG’s procedures.
